Carrara Marble is absolutely stunning, but it is a natural porous stone and should be treated with care. We advise sealing your marble with 'Lithofin Stain Stop' on arrival and reapplying this annually to protect the stone. As marble is a natural product and its appearance and veining can vary considerably from the images shown. It is also fragile and porous, therefore, we cannot accept responsibility for any discolouring, stains, scratches, fractures or cracks to the stone that may appear after it has been delivered.

Quartz is typically more hardy and doesn't require sealant and we offer this in white with either a plain or a pale grey vein finish.  

A matching 80mm upstand is included as standard with our Quartz and Marble counter tops.

To help your bathroom fitter, we will not attach the stone counter tops to the units, this will allow for relatively stress free plumbing and easier transportation. Our stone worktops can be attached easily with a little silicone once the plumbing is in place. 

Please note that all of our counter tops have an overhang of 10mm to the front and sides (but not the back to ensure the cabinet fits flush against the wall). The 10mm overhang is in addition to the width quoted in the product listing, for example a W600mm x D450mm unit will become W620mm x D460mm once the counter top is fitted.

All of our stone counter tops are pre drilled with a 70mm cut out for the waste pipe. Predrilled tap holes are available to purpose as a bespoke option in our shop. Please refer to our Installation section for more information on drilling your own tap holes.
